We strengthened the commitment of 5 small town leaders to their local community

The first funding period of our Foundation’s Revitalising Small Towns programme for 2020-2023 has ended. We commissioned Gábor Héra, Senior Researcher at HOLO., to evaluate the programme and to assess its impact on the beneficiaries and the life of the local community.

The methodology chosen was Outcome Harvesting, which involved 18 interviews over a two-month period. The evaluation revealed that the interviewees identified a total of 24 impacts of the programme (at individual, organisational or community level), including the development of the beneficiaries’ skills, the strengthening of their commitment to the local community and their capacity to play a bridging role and to bring local people together.
